Our Community, Our Choice
Citizens for Coastal Conservancy works to protect Southern California's coastal environments and natural resources through education, research, and advocacy, ensuring future generations have public access to clean beaches and healthy coastal ecosystems.
Citizens for Coastal Conservancy is a grassroots non-profit organization run by local citizens who are passionate about protecting our coastal environment.
We are residents of Imperial Beach, Chula Vista, and other South Bay San Diego communities who have witnessed firsthand the devastating impacts of cross-border sewage pollution on our beaches, health, and quality of life.
Unlike corporate-backed interests, we represent the voice of the community, advocating for science-based solutions that prioritize public health and environmental sustainability over short-term political gains.

Giving a voice to the public that questions corporate interests on environmental issues. We believe in grassroots advocacy and community-driven solutions.
Be the change you want to see in your community. We educate residents about environmental issues and empower them to take action.
C4CC proposes solutions to improve the health, wellness, and lifestyle of local residents affected by environmental pollution.
Protect our beaches from sewage outfall caused by bad practices and lobbied interests. Clean water is a fundamental right.
We provide accessible information about coastal environmental issues, helping residents understand the science behind the sewage crisis and empowering them with knowledge.
We conduct and compile scientific research that supports sustainable, community-focused solutions rather than corporate-backed quick fixes.
We actively engage with policymakers, government agencies, and the media to push for effective solutions to the cross-border sewage crisis.
We prioritize the health and safety of South Bay residents, fighting against policies that would expose our communities to harmful sewage pollution.
